Grown for it's attractive flowers and foliage, the Variegated Shell Ginger grows in upright clumps in full-sun to part-shade.

  • The flowers are said to resemble seashells (particularly when in bud), which gives the ginger its common name.
  • An ornamental ginger, this Alpinia features variegated leaves of green and gold and is a fantastic understory plant, growing 2-3 metres high.
  •  Available in a 200mm pot.
