An absolute show stopper, Begonia 'Exotica' has stunning pink/red wing-shaped leaves with dark green veins, growing on long cane-like stalks.
Native to New Guinea and not a cultivated hybrid, this plant is surprisingly easy to grow, given warmth and humidity and has a shrub-like growth pattern when mature.
The Exotica Begonia has a shrub-like habit and grows to about 3 feet tall.
Its vibrant leaves can get quite big - about 20 to 25cm long. Each leaf has a glossy, bronze-green background, with pink streaks that almost look painted on.
