The Licuala Grandis, or Licuala Palm is a true stand-out with its glossy, pleated, fan-like fronds.
Native to the humid rainforests of Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands, the palm puts out a drooping cluster of fruits that mature late in the season.
Many gardeners cluster Licualas beneath a tall shade tree for a visually pleasing look. Indoors, the palm can be a dramatic accent.
